This database contains information on over 100 philanthropic organizations that provide funding, fellowships and awards for those working in the area of international democratic development.

Before contacting the prospective funder, RESEARCH the funder.
  • REVIEW the materials available on their web site. Read the description of their funding programs and familiarise yourself with any programs that the foundation funded in the past.

  • ASK youself some questions, such as: Does their program match your funding needs? Does your progam match the type of programs the foundation will fund? Are there any funding limitations?

  • COLLECT the proper information that the funder is going to require for your application. Make sure that you are submitting the proper information.
