Dismas KitengeDemocratic Republic of Congo
The Executive Secretary of NED grantee Groupe Lotus, Franck Koy Mawade, was killed in a plane crash earlier this month; GL president Dismas Kitenge (left) was severely injured. more   
  
While Kitenge is now unable to attend the July 26 NED-sponsored conference at Washington's Holocaust Memorial Museum on the DRC's political future, several other key DRC civil society leaders will be present. more

Tunisia
