Angel Nigaglioni

PENN KEMBLE DEMOCRACY FORUM FELLOWS

Angel Nigaglioni serves as Legislative Director and Counsel to Congressman José E. Serrano, who is the Ranking Member of the House Financial Services Appropriations Subcommittee, and a member of the State and Foreign Operations and Commerce-Justice-Science Appropriations Subcommittees.  His legislative portfolio includes foreign affairs, defense, intelligence, science, space, energy, homeland security, commerce, trade, pensions and retirement, seniors, and travel and tourism. 

Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Nigaglioni earned a Bachelors’ degree summa cum laude in International Affairs from The George Washington University and was inducted to Phi Beta Kappa. He also earned a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he was President of the Latino Law Student Association and Managing Editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies.
