Action des Femmes des Grands Lacs pour la Paix (Great Lakes Women's Action for Peace) (AFGLP)

To establish strategic mechanisms among the women of the Great Lakes region of central Africa to work together on restoring good governance, peace, and equitable development. AFGLP will hold four workshops to increase the involvement of Rwandan, Congolese, and Burundian women in peace promotion and civic education, and produce ten-minute radio skits on good governance, peaceful cohabitation, and respect for human rights.

Association Bonne Semence (Good Sowing)

To increase ethnic, political party, and religious understanding among Burundian communities, and to decrease instances of discrimination and exclusion. BonSem will conduct a program of civic education and training activities for representatives of Hutu, Tutsi and Batwa mutuels (ethnic associations). Activities will focus on the transition process and methods for citizens to identify human rights violations and bring about good governance.

Centre d'Alerte et de Prévention des Conflits (Alert and Conflict Prevention Center) (CENAP)

To contribute to the resolution of land conflicts through a study of the problem and the promotion of necessary policy changes. CENAP will hold a workshop on research tools as well as a two-day training workshop for investigators of land conflicts. The Center will then conduct a survey to collect information and data, which will be compiled and analyzed along with the documentary research.

New Generation

To promote positive youth participation and ensure a peaceful process in the upcoming national election. New Generation will create a network of civic education and human rights clubs with youth groups as well as high school and college students. Topics will include previous elections, causes of conflict, and laws that will govern after the current transitional government.
