Association pour la Promotion des Libertés Fondamentales au Tchad (Association for the Promotion of Fundamental Rights in Chad) (APLFT)

To educate Chadians on the rule of law and improve access to justice. APLFT will provide legal assistance to rural Chadians by establishing seven rural legal aid clinics that offer free consultations to indigent victims of human rights abuse and arbitrary arrest. APLFT will also document human rights abuses in press releases and human rights reports and produce a human rights radio program.
Ligue Tchadienne des Droits de L'Homme (Chadian League of Human Rights) (LTDH)

To increase awareness of the tenets of human rights as well as to actively promote, protect, and defend the human rights of Chadians. LTDH will conduct paralegal and conflict resolution training programs, and call its triennial general assembly, which will provide a platform to formulate priorities and strategies, evaluate activities, and elect the organization's leadership.
