Legal Reform Program

To improve Vietnam's legal system, with the aim of improving access to justice for all citizens and strengthening the rule of law. The program will include production of educational materials for the general public, compilation of procedural manuals for professionals working in the judicial and legal systems, and training workshops.

Association for Vietnamese Overseas: Culture and Liaison
$70,000
To promote human rights and democratic values in Vietnam. The Association will publish a bi-monthly Vietnamese-language magazine that provides uncensored news and commentary, and conduct advocacy campaigns drawing international attention to human rights conditions and the efforts of prodemocracy activists inside the country.
