Association Bonne Semence (Good Sowing) (BonSem)

To empower the most politically marginalized communities in Burundi, notably the Twa population. BonSem will organize seminars and workshops to discuss how civil society can work for the political and economic inclusion of Twa communities. In addition, BonSem will produce a weekly radio show and publish its quarterly newsletter.

Ligue Iteka (Burundi's League for Human Rights)

To contribute to good governance and the rule of law in the Kirundo, Muyinga, and Karuzi Provinces. Ligue Iteka will establish local good governance committees by recruiting and training at least 40 volunteer provincial and communal representatives to coordinate and facilitate the development of a local good governance movement in each local community. Trainees will also organize meetings to review the philosophy of the project.

Organisation des Medias d'Afrique Centrale (Media Organization of Central Africa) (OMAC)

To contribute to the respect for journalistic ethics and the development of free and balanced reporting in the media. OMAC will publish seven thematic reports on topics such as peace, reconciliation, human rights, and the rule of law in the media; organize quarterly press conferences to disseminate reports; spotlight media that is in compliance with professional ethics; and write a weekly report on the main themes in the news.
