Center for Human Rights and Peace Advocacy (CHRAPA)

To promote greater participation in the judicial process and increase access to democratic institutions in rural communities in Cameroon's Northwest Province. CHRAPA will launch a center that offers a viable option to the traditional and state courts through free legal aid, workshops, and lectures. In addition, CHRAPA will broadcast a bi-weekly 30-minute radio program and publish quarterly newsletters.
Civil Initiatives for Development with Integrity (CIDI)
$31,000
To promote an anti-corruption culture in the Northwest Provinces of Cameroon. CIDI will produce and broadcast educational and sensitization radio programs that monitor corruption and abuse. In addition, CIDI will organize an encounter between civil society and parliamentarians to develop a civil society position on current and future measures against corruption.
