ALFED will also conduct a three-day seminar to guide political administrators, traditional chiefs, and public opinion leaders through the new laws on decentralized power and the general provisions of the new constitution.

Association Chrétienne pour la Promotion Humaine (Christian Action for the Advancement of Humanity) (ACPROH)

AJFMa will conduct a women's peace and justice awareness campaign culminating in a conference on the rights of women, democracy, and peace; press conferences; and radio broadcasts. AJFMa will also aid courts in southern Maniema to ensure that they are properly equipped and defendants have fair trials.

Commission Diocesaine Justice et Paix de Kindu (Justice and Peace Commission - Kindu Diocese) (CDJP)

Ethiopian Human Rights Council (EHRCO)

EHRCO will conduct advocacy campaigns on the protection of human rights and press freedom; produce press releases, reports, and position papers focusing on the problems of torture, arbitrary arrest and detention without trial, and extrajudicial killing; translate and distribute human rights education documents and posters promoting awareness of human rights; conduct workshops throughout Ethiopia; and open ten new offices.

Global Rights

To strengthen the capacity of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in the Congo to advocate on issues of justice sector reform and the fight against impunity and to effectively document crimes of sexual violence for prosecution. Global Rights will provide institutional assistance and technical support. As a supplement to training activities, Global Rights will make ten small grants to local groups.

RCCHE will hold a series of training-of-trainers sessions for members of youth and women's associations, elders, local government officials, and leaders of religious institutions in order to provide participants with an understanding of civic responsibility, democracy, human rights, and gender and peace in relation to the specific ethnic conflicts.
