To strengthen peace-building efforts by empowering community leaders with traditional and modern conflict resolution techniques. CPAR-E will strengthen the linkages between the traditional conflict resolution system and Ethiopia's formal legal system, and will convene inter- and intra-ethnic workshop forums that will establish community-based peace committees to promote the use of traditional and formal methods of conflict resolution to resolve disputes within the community.
