To strengthen corporate good governance in the public and private business sector in Indonesia. In conjunction with Indonesia Business Links (IBL), CIPE will organize a series of workshops on corruption, business ethics, and good governance policies to assist the Indonesian government's Corruption Eradication Commission in its efforts to improve corporate accountability and transparency. In addition, CIPE and IBL will publish books on business ethics, create codes of conduct for businesses, and broadcast a radio show on corruption.

To strengthen the governance capacity of Indonesian provincial parliamentarians and to increase public outreach through the use of information technology. IRI will train legislators in Yogjakarta on the use of information and communication technologies to enhance constituent relations and help the provincial legislature develop a long-term e-governance strategy.

To improve the ability of Indonesian political parties to be effective representatives of their constituencies and to strengthen the organizational structures of the parties at the provincial and district levels. Through a series of training workshops and seminars, IRI will develop targeted assistance programs for at least six parties in at least four different provinces, with a special focus placed on training for parties in Aceh.
