CIPE will work with its local partner, the Center for the Implementation of Public Policies for Equity and Growth (CIPPEC), to promote the active engagement of key stakeholders in the advocacy of fiscal reforms to reduce the likelihood of the country once again falling into a political and economic crisis. CIPPEC will organize seminars and smaller meetings, publish papers and policy briefs, and work with the media to publish relevant articles.

El Ágora (Agora)

El Ágora will collect input by interviewing members of local government and community leaders. Combining these findings with the campaign promises of newly elected officials, El Ágora will help citizens develop criteria to measure the local government’s progress on these goals.

Ejercicio Ciudadano (Citizen Exercise)

Ejercicio Ciudadano will create spaces where academics, experts, and civil society representatives can discuss various aspects of the reform. In particular, Ejercicio Ciudadano will facilitate consideration of legislative representation, transparency and access to public information, mechanisms for citizen participation, and the independence of the judiciary.

Foro de Periodismo Argentino (Forum for Argentine Journalism) (FOPEA)

FOPEA will consolidate its network to monitor violations of freedom of expression throughout the country, identify systemic obstacles to freedom of expression, and provide support for journalists whose right to freedom of expression has been violated, either overtly or indirectly.

Fundación Familiares Víctimas Indefensas de Mendoza (Foundation for Family Members of Defenseless Victims in Mendoza) (FAVIM)

Poder Ciudadano (Citizen Power)

Poder Ciudadano and its network of local community groups will work to improve access to identity documentation by coordinating a campaign to raise awareness about how to obtain an identity card and its importance. At the same time, Poder Ciudadano will work with the government to reform the process of issuing identity cards.

Red de Acción Política (Political Action Network) (RAP)
