Center for Citizen Training and Development Support (CEFCAD)

To consolidate the organizational capacity and sustainability of grassroots groups in eight rural municipalities of Haiti. Through workshops and technical assistance, CEFCAD will strengthen the institutional capacity of local authorities and community Initiative Committees to support systematic communication between officials and their constituents, and local development. Additionally, CEFCAD will strengthen the administrative, financial and technical capacity of new NED grantees.
Comité d'Initiatives de la 3eme Section du Limbé (Initiatives Committee for the Third District of Limbé) (CI3SL)

To enhance the capacity, leadership, and conflict resolution skills of community organizations and grassroots leaders in Lower Limbé and the Third District of Limbé. Using participants from previous projects, CI3SL will provide trainings on leadership and conflict resolution and will help new organizations identify and respond to local development needs through concrete community projects.
Coordination Communale des Comités d'Initiative de Gonaïves (Communal Coordination of Initiative Committees in Gonaives)

Working in coordination with NED grantee the Comité d’Initiative de la 3eme Section du Limbé (CI3SL), CCIL will train community-based organizations in six districts of Limbé. CCIL will conduct civil education workshops, and will encourage civil society leaders to engage their local elected authorities and participate in the public life of their communities.
Coordination Nationale des Organisations de Base (National Coordination of Grassroots Organizations)(CONOB)

To strengthen the capacity of local elected officials and grassroots leaders in four conflict-ridden neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince to promote peace, address local community needs and to encourage active citizen participation. Through trainings on conflict resolution, project management and community participation, CONOB will reinforce the capacities of local actors in conflict resolution and project development to consolidate democracy and nascent peace.
Fondation Espoir / Jeune Ayiti (Hope Foundation / Young Haiti)

To reinforce the capacity and sustainability of regional project centers in four departments of Haiti, to address local training and development needs. Fondation Espoir will strengthen its ability to provide technical assistance to civil society groups and will assist them to secure independent funding. By consolidating its training program and reaching out to new youth leaders, Fondation Espoir will help grassroots organizations design projects addressing community needs.
Jurimédia

To strengthen newly-formed groups of young community leaders in northern Haiti. Jurimédia will provide participants with trainings and tools to facilitate relations with local elected officials, and to improve local governance and human rights conditions in 19 municipalities. Jurimédia will also create a small resource center to increase access to the internet and resources relevant to their work.
Le Collectif des Notables de Cité Soleil (Leaders from Cite Soleil) (CONOCS)

To strengthen the institutional capacity of community-based organizations in Cité Soleil and promote a proactive and peaceful civil society. CONOCS will provide training to Cité Soleil-based organizations on institutional strengthening and democracy, and will facilitate citizen debates on issues of concern to the local population.
Plate Forme Nationale des Organisations Pour le Développement d'Haïti
(National Platform of Organizations for the Development of Haiti) (PLAFONDH)

To strengthen the leadership skills and democratic practices of grassroots leaders in six conflict-ridden neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince. PLAFONDH will provide 120 grassroots leaders with trainings on leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution and coalition building. PLAFONDH will then help community leaders apply their new skills in their organizations and communities.
Rassemblement Des Citoyens Organisés De La Grand Anse
(Association of Organized Citizens of the Grand Anse) (RACOGA)

To improve local governance conditions and increase the technical capacity of local government in the south of Haiti. RACOGA will provide training to local authorities from seven municipalities in the Grand Anse Department, focusing on issues such as good governance, fiscal responsibility, peaceful resolution of conflict, and improved relations with constituents. RACOGA will also facilitate discussions with civil society leaders to improve local governance.
Rassemblement National des Citoyens Organisés pour le Développement d'Haïti
(National Association of Citizens Organized for Haitian Development) (RANCODHA)

To encourage citizen oversight and participation in decision-making processes affecting the conflict-ridden communities of Bel Air and Cité Soleil. RANCODHA will work with community-based organizations to consolidate their capacity for oversight and advocacy, and to give the most vulnerable and marginalized groups the tools to influence public policy and community development through peaceful, democratic means.
Réseau National de Défense des Droits Humains (National Network for the Defense of Human Rights) (RNDDH)

To consolidate and expand RNDDH’s national network of human rights groups. RNDDH will provide local partners training and assistance to strengthen their administrative and technical capacity. RNDDH will also train all members on economic, social and cultural rights, and on access to the newly-created national civil registry. Regular meetings will provide a national perspective on the human rights situation in Haiti and increase cohesion among network members.
