Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR)

To develop technical skills of human and civic rights activists on monitoring and documenting civic rights abuses. BCHR will implement a comprehensive capacity building program that involves hands-on training in developing and exhibiting documentaries on human and civic rights abuses in Bahrain.

Bahrain Human Rights Society (BHRS)

To mobilize Bahraini civil society in support of human and civic rights, political reform and democratic participation. BHRS will conduct three bi-monthly training workshops and three bi-monthly seminars on democratic principles and civic rights. The workshops will target a diverse group of 60 members of civil society, government representatives, members of parliament, and NGO members.

Bahrain Women Association for Human Development (BWA)

To raise Bahraini women’s awareness of women’s rights and strengthen their own institutional capacity. BWA will conduct a training-of-trainers workshop for women leaders covering strategic planning, effective training techniques and advocacy and basic communication. With the assistance of BWA, the participants will conduct their own workshops on political participation and democratic principles for 200 Bahraini women who will be selected from Bahrain’s five main community centers.
