To continue building public confidence in the electoral process. NDI will support MESN, a coalition of 75 Malawian civic groups, to conduct domestic monitoring activities that will enhance prospects for a peaceful and credible presidential election in 2009. NDI will assist MESN to conduct qualitative and quantitative monitoring of the voting processes on election day based on a representative random sample of polling stations nationwide.
