To improve the business environment in which women entrepreneurs work in Bangladesh. CIPE and its partner, the Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will build on its previous work developing a Women’s National Business Agenda by seeking to advance the issues identified and will also raise public awareness of the agenda through a series of television talk shows.
National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI)
$362,889
To effective minority participation in the legislative process and inform parliamentary transition efforts. NDI will convene multi-party advisory group meetings with civil society and academic leaders to address ways in which the majority and minority parties can work together while maintaining their respective parties’ interests.
