To build the capacity of sectoral trade unions to increase membership and to fulfill their core functions as worker representatives. The Solidarity Center will support national and provincial union representatives in the mining and hotel sectors to promote freedom of association, exchange of best practices and develop competencies important to advancing fundamental democratic principles at the workplace.

To improve the capacity of trade unions to recruit and represent members in bonded zones; enable union partners to begin engagement with policymakers to amend national labor law and social security; facilitate the dissemination of information about decisions by the labor courts; and support unions in addressing issues that concern women workers.
Center for International Private Enterprise

To raise awareness among small- and medium-sized Indonesian enterprises as well as local government and civil society of corruption-related risks and to encourage more ethical behavior. CIPE and Indonesia Business Links will conduct a series of workshops to raise awareness about anti-corruption practices among a wider audience. In addition, the project will lay the groundwork for a national Business Without Bribery Campaign.
International Republican Institute

To strengthen the representative capacity and relationships between district level legislators and their political party cadres at the national level. The Institute will conduct a series of focus group discussions and trainings with district legislators and their party cadres on constituent outreach strategies and best practices that apply to their respective constituencies.
National Democratic Institute for International Affairs

To strengthen the capacity of the Institute for Peace and Democracy (IPD) to engage civil society organizations in the Asia region and to contribute to the Bali Democracy Forum. NDI will work in partnership with the IPD to design and conduct a regional workshop on civil society oversight of local government processes that will take place in conjunction with the Bali Democracy Forum.
