To strengthen the rule of law and improve the performance of anti-corruption measures in the Kyrgyz Republic. The organization will monitor courts and pre-trial investigative proceedings throughout the county in order to assess the degree to which uniform standards are followed during the investigation and adjudication of cases concerning corruption-related crimes. On the basis of these findings, the organization will analyze existing legislation—as well as the implementation of the country’s Anti-Corruption Program—in order to put forward recommendations for harmonizing and strengthening the country’s anti-corruption legal framework.

The organization will conduct a study analyzing women’s political and social participation in nine target regions in the north of the country and then develop community-specific strategies and trainings aimed at fostering women’s active participation in public life. In the south of the country, the organization will organize an advanced training seminar and support the realization of small initiatives aimed at fostering pluralism and tolerance.

 

Supporting Long Term Citizen Election Observation in Kyrgyzstan
