A National Business Agenda to Increase Private Sector Advocacy for Economic Reform

 $234,669

To expand private sector advocacy for economic reform in Algeria through the National Business Agenda (NBA) framework. The center will build on its previous work and will partner with an Algerian think tank to further solidify the established NBA Coalition, advocate reforms to decision-makers, and embed NBA mechanisms in the Algerian context.

Advocating Transitional Justice

 $30,000

To promote human rights through transitional justice efforts, particularly regarding forced disappearances. The project will include a fact-finding mission with members of its network, an advocacy delegation mission to Geneva, and a roundtable on collective memory and transitional justice.

Promoting Women’s Leadership

 $26,000

To enhance women’s advocacy and leadership skills to participate in local policy decision-making processes. The organization will engage women leaders in civil society, local councils, and labor unions to advocate for women’s role in development and local policy.  It will facilitate the interaction of women and local elected officials on issues related to community priorities and the inclusion of women in local policy development.
