Description: To encourage citizens' participation in Burmese politics. The project activities will include a series of leadership and citizen empowerment workshops throughout the country. The workshops will focus on topics such as preventing communal conflict, the causes of poverty, and land issues. The conclusions of the workshops will then be presented to members of parliament in an effort to promote a dialogue between Burmese citizens and their elected representatives.
