Description: To foster greater understanding of the spillover effects of Venezuelan corruption and criminal activity on the democratic governance of other Latin American countries; and to offer policy recommendations to close legislative and enforcement loopholes. The organization will work with investigative journalists and partner organizations in Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras and the Dominican Republic to document the criminal penetration of the Venezuelan state, and its repercussions on transnational crime and democratic governance.
