To build the capacity of 150 women interested in running for elected office in local elections, and educate local com­munities on the advantages of including women in decision making positions. GF2D will organize trainings for 150 women interested in running for elected office. GF2D will produce brochures with a historical perspective of women’s role in Togolese politics which will be the basis for discussions in local communities.

Women in Law and Development in Africa (WiLDAF)

To promote a system-wide approach in the budgeting process that is gender balanced and uses public resources efficiently. WiLDAF will train a core group of 25 women who will engage parliamentarians and ministries on making the concerns and experiences of women and men an integral part of the budget design, implementation and monitoring so all can benefit equally.
