In particular, ANDHES will focus on bolstering the capacity of local civil society by providing training for institutional strengthening, and by assisting to create platforms for dialogue among local groups, as well as between them and provincial authorities.
Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE)

To strengthen congressional oversight of the public pension fund system based on the principles of transparency, accountability, fairness, and responsibility. CIPE and the Center for Financial Stability - CEF will create a public pension fund monitoring group to serve as a reference for the public and legislators and organize presentations for key policy-makers on governance of the fund. CEF will share its research with the target audience through publications and seminars.
El Ágora

To promote youth participation in the development of public policies at the municipal level in Cordoba. Ágora will conduct trainings for youth to increase their capacity for participation and for oversight of political and electoral reforms which will be tested in the 2011 general elections. Ágora will also develop indicators assessing public administration in Cordoba city on key issue areas, to increase accountability and citizen oversight.
Foro de Periodismo Argentino (FOPEA)

To encourage Argentine journalists to practice independent journalism. FOPEA will continue its monitoring and alert network regarding freedom of expression violations to protect journalists and to raise public awareness. Additionally, FOPEA will advocate for legislation promoting access to public information and regulation of the use of government publicity funds.
Fundación Familiares Víctimas Indefensas de Mendoza (FAVIM)

To improve citizen participation and oversight of the legislature in Mendoza Province. Working with a local partner, Acción Ciudadana will encourage the use of existing mechanisms for participation, and will monitor the work of the legislature, publishing regular reports on its observations. Finally, Acción Ciudadana will work to strengthen the legislature by promoting timely and appropriate reforms.
Fundación Para el Cambio Democrático

To promote the use of land management regulations as tools for democratic conflict management and resolution in Mendoza, San Juan and Chaco. Cambio Democrático will conduct a comprehensive analysis of natural resource conflicts and will advocate for the use of land management regulations to resolve and address these conflicts in a democratic manner. Cambio Democrático will promote pluralist dialogue to strengthen civil society oversight and political participation capacities.
Fundación Red de Apoyo y Participación (RAP)

To improve the practical and professional skills of politicians in the interior of Argentina. RAP will strengthen relationships among and between politicians and civil society leaders by providing assistance through one-on-one support, workshops, seminars, and meetings to more effectively address issues of common concern.
