To build technical capacity and coordi­nation to begin a Gulf regional move­ment towards monitoring detention facilities as a means to prevent torture. BHRS will conduct a three-day training workshop in Bahrain for human rights activists from Gulf countries on monitor­ing conditions in detention centers.
