The organization will facilitate coordination among its members to improve their capacity, enhance their collective work, and improve cooperation between them and their stakeholders. The organization will hold two forums on rights-based issues, conduct training and mentoring on financial sustainability, and lead a public awareness campaign that addresses civil society’s efforts in protecting civic space.

To strengthen government responsiveness to citizen demands and priorities, particularly at the decentralized level. The organization will use supplemental resources to design and produce 12 radio programs that focus on the 19th parliamentary elections in November 2020. The one-hour programs will report on relative updates regarding the elections, candidates, and their platforms. The parliamentary elections come amidst COVID-19 concerns and shifting legal regulations.

To strengthen government responsiveness to citizen demands and priorities, particularly at the decentralized level. The organization will use supplemental resources to cover licensing fees to ensure continuous broadcasting. During the pandemic, advertising revenues have declined and support will fill the gap.
Enhancing Youth Political Engagement

To promote and expand youth political participation, particularly in upcoming parliamentary and local elections. The organization will launch an initiative to expand youth political participation in the upcoming parliamentary and local elections. It will produce a radio talk show on youth political participation, and organize dialogue sessions and training workshops with other civil society organizations to coordinate efforts at supporting youth engagement.
Protecting Civic Space

To promote civil and social movements’ freedom of association. The organization will launch an effort to highlight the challenges facing CSOs and advocate for legislative reform. It will produce semi-annual reports on CSOs challenges, host webinars to discuss the reports’ results, launch a social media advocacy campaign to protect space for CSOs, and host a national dialogue forum on freedom of association.
