Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Mars

Jessica Adelman is Senior Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Global Communications at Mars, where she leads Corporate Affairs for North America and leads the Communications & Change Management for the Mars + Kellanova Integration Management Office for the proposed acquisition.

She previously served as Group Vice President of Corporate Affairs for The Kroger Co., where she served as President of both Kroger foundations – the private foundation with $125M in assets under management and the innovative public Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation designed to find food waste solutions in America. Adelman has 25 years of experience as an executive in the food industry and retail, including as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Syngenta North America plus other companies in the food value chain, including both Cargill and Monsanto.

Adelman has her MBA from the Wharton School of Business, where she majored in Public Policy while also getting a Masters in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her undergraduate degree cum laude from Dartmouth College as a Russian Area Studies major and lived in the Former Soviet Union for several years in the 1990s. She speaks both Russian and French.
