Bileh Dougsiyeh

Program Management Officer I, Democracy International

Bileh Dougsiyeh is currently a Program Management Officer with Democracy International, where he provides support to programs in Bangladesh, Uganda and Ethiopia. Prior to joining DI, Bileh was part of a program management team with Global Communities, supporting projects in Ghana, Jordan, and Sri Lanka. Bileh served an 18-month post in Ghana as a Communications and Learning Officer on the Mastercard Foundation funded YIEDIE project. Before going to Ghana, Bileh was a Program Associate with Global Communities, where he provided support to a large portfolio of projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, South Sudan, Liberia, Uganda, and Haiti. He began his career with the National Democratic Institute, as a Project Assistant on the Central and West Africa team supporting projects in Mali. Bileh completed his M.A. in International Affairs from the American University of Paris, graduating as valedictorian of his cohort. Bileh received a B.A. from Georgia State University Majoring in Political Science with a concentration on International Affairs and a Minor in Arabic Language.
