Evan Moore
PENN KEMBLE DEMOCRACY FORUM FELLOWS
Evan Moore is a Senior Policy Analyst at the Foreign Policy Initiative, a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to promoting U.S. international engagement. He writes on a wide range of issues, including the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Russia, South Asia, U.S. defense spending, and the War on Terrorism. Evan’s work has appeared in several online and print publications, including National Review Online, The Weekly Standard’s blog, RealClearWorld and RealClearDefense, U.S. News and World Report’s website, The Diplomat, The Commentator, and The Journal of International Security Affairs. Evan is also the editor of the FPI Overnight Brief, a compilation of news, analysis, and commentary on major foreign policy and national security issues published every weekday.
Evan joined FPI in January 2010 after receiving his M.S. in Defense and Strategic Studies from Missouri State University. His thesis assessed the prospects for democratization in the Middle East. Evan also received a B.A. in Government and International Politics from George Mason University.
