Mr. Alimure Ali

Mr. Alimure Ali is a nonprofit organization practitioner with over eight years of experience working on USAID governance projects in South Sudan. He has worked as an assistant program manager in the Juba office of the National Democratic Institute, a position he assumed after holding others in the organization, and has served as a domestic election observer in southern Sudan. Through workshops and trainings, he has contributed to building the capacity of government officials, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders and has mentored government officials on good governance initiatives, best practices, budgeting, and work planning processes. During his fellowship, Mr. Ali is contributing to the planning of the World Movement for Democracy’s 2015 Global Assembly in Dakar and is providing research and analytical support to NED’s grant-making programs in Africa.
