Seamus P. Daniels

Fellow for Defense Budget Analysis, Center for Strategic and International Studies

Seamus P. Daniels is a fellow for Defense Budget Analysis in the International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), where he researches issues related to defense spending, strategy, and military force structure. He has authored publications and briefed policymakers on trends in the overall defense budget, the legislative process surrounding defense appropriations, defense strategy and readiness, and NATO burden sharing. Prior to joining CSIS, Seamus worked for Government Executive Media Group. He holds an A.B. from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs and is currently completing his M.A. in International Relations at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
