Anne Tsai Bennet became chief of staff of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) in March 2022. As a veteran of the US Department of State’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) and the National Democratic Institute, one of NED’s four core institutes, Ms. Tsai Bennet brings over two decades of program and policy experience, in addition to tremendous leadership in international democracy, human rights, and governance.
