The National Endowment for Democracy is proud to support DokuFest, which promotes activism and human rights through film. The organization promotes the use of its civic education package, which integrates human rights documentary films into high school curricula, as well as establish and equip youth cinema clubs in Bosniak, Serb, and Turkish minority communities. The group also trains students in video activism and help them to produce short human rights films to be screened later at the festival and in cinema clubs.
