Rebecca Varghese

Rebecca Varghese joined NED in April 2023. She is an experienced financial leader with over 25 years of international experience in the private and non-profit sectors. Rebecca is an accomplished manager and strategic financial analyst and brings a pragmatic, problem-solving approach to her work.

After receiving her Bachelor of Technology at the College of Engineering in Trivandrum, Kerala, Rebecca earned her MBA in Finance from the Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has worked for some of world’s leading for-profit companies. This includes 18 years in Russia as finance leader and controller for PricewaterhouseCoopers, Clifford Chance, YUM Brands, and Cushman & Wakefield. She also served as a senior corporate comptroller at a leading commercial real estate company in the United States before moving to the non-profit sector.

She lives in east Maryland with her husband, and they spend their free time enjoying long bike rides, theatre, and hikes with their two dogs.
