Aishwarya Raje
Senior Officer for Public Advocacy, International Rescue Committee
Aishwarya Raje is the Senior Officer for Public Advocacy at the International Rescue Committee, one of the world’s largest humanitarian and refugee resettlement organizations. She leads the creation of consistent, compelling policy narratives on global priorities for the IRC, namely on the climate crisis, acute child malnutrition, and development finance reform. She has led the development of external-facing reports by translating technical evidence into policy recommendations, most recently authoring a report on how the UNFCCC’s new climate finance goal can support climate-vulnerable and conflict-affected states. Aishwarya was previously a Policy Advisor at Mercy Corps, where she focused on humanitarian and development policy in Africa; and a Research Assistant at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where she focused on global health policy. She holds a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and an M.P.P. from the University of Chicago, where she was a fellow with the Pearson Institute for the Study and Resolution of Global Conflicts.
