Annie Medaglia

Annie Medaglia is a foreign policy expert and social entrepreneur whose mission is to leverage the public and private sector to solve some of foreign policy’s toughest challenges. She is currently a consultant at Bain & Co. in Washington, DC. Previously, she was the founding Deputy Director of the Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center where she built and managed the Center from scratch. She was a Senior Adviser at the U.S. Department of State to both the Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy and the Special Envoy for International Energy Affairs. While a State Department Presidential Management Fellow, she managed the Middle East portfolio in the Legislative Affairs Bureau, was Desk Officer for Qatar and Oman in the Near Eastern Affairs Bureau, and served as a fellow with the U.S. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.  Annie is also a Co-Founder of DreamWakers, a national nonprofit that harness the power of video chat to bring diverse and dynamic leaders into high-need classrooms.

Annie received an MBA, MPP, and BA in Foreign Affairs/Spanish from the University of Virginia.
