April Lenhard

Senior Product Manager, Team Cymru

April Lenhard is a cyber threat intelligence professional working at the intersection of cybersecurity and policy with experience in countering misinformation strategy and identifying influence operations. At Team Cymru, she focuses on product strategy, data integrity, and furthering the mission of saving and improving human lives. She is also a consulting subject matter expert, providing guidance and leadership on strategic initiatives to combat misinformation about weapons of mass destruction and other topics. Her professional experience includes intelligence analysis specializing in counterterrorism and tracking illicit finance, creating intel-gathering tools across the CTI industry, and teaching national security. She has delivered dozens of presentations and talks at conferences throughout North America, Africa, and Europe, and is a 2023 alumna of the Emerging as a Global Leader (EaGLE) program. She is an active member of the McLean Volunteer Fire Department and of Team Rubicon, where she deployed to Guatemala through Operation Beyond the Horizon as an EMT and translator. April holds an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, a certificate in Cybersecurity Strategy from Georgetown University, and holds BAs in International Relations and in Political Science from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
