Charles Reaume
Program Analyst, U.S. Department of State
Charles Reaume serves as a program analyst in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs’ Office of Assistance Coordination (NEA/AC) at the Department of State. In this role, his work focuses on the monitoring, evaluation, and learning for foreign assistance programs across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Prior to joining the Department of State, Charles served in various roles within the MENA division of Chemonics International overseeing the design, implementation, management, and monitoring of large-scale USAID-funded programs in the areas of economic growth and trade, democracy and governance, and education. Charles has worked and traveled throughout the MENA region and has direct experience managing the implementation of foreign assistance programs in Tunisia, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, and Qatar. He completed his B.A. in economics with a minor in Middle East studies from Portland State University and is an alum of the University of Oxford Refugee Studies Centre’s International Summer School in Forced Migration.
