Kateryna Bondar

Former Special Advisor, Government of Ukraine

Kateryna Bondar was a Special Advisor to the Government of Ukraine, where she was responsible for the cooperation with the international financial institutions and implementation of reforms in financial and defense sectors. After the Russian invasion to Ukraine, Kateryna facilitated information exchange among military intelligence agencies of the Western allies and managed aspects of financial support for Ukraine by G7 countries. Prior to the war, Bondar was a Fellow of the Ukrainian Emerging Leaders Program at Stanford University, Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law, Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. In 2017-2019 Bondar was a Senior Project Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers managing technical assistance projects implemented in the Ministry of Defense. After the Revolution of Dignity from 2014 to 2017 Bondar was a reform coordinator in the Project Management Office of the National Reforms Council and the Reform Support Team at the Ministry of Finance. She was deeply involved in the reform agenda development and implementation process. Prior to working in public sector Bondar held a position of Financial Control Manager at Microsoft. Bondar holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Institute of International Relations, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
