Kristen Belleisle
Project Manager, Brookings Institution
Kristen Belleisle is a project manager with the Brookings Institution’s Security and Strategy team. Her current projects include supporting research on international security, nonproliferation policy, and the impact of America’s global role. Previously at Brookings, she worked on issues of Middle Eastern governance as a center coordinator with Brookings’s Center for Middle East Policy and on metropolitan approaches to refugee resettlement as a research assistant with Brookings’s Office of the Centennial Scholar. Between 2010-2014, Kristen lived and studied in Cairo, Egypt. While there, she studied Arabic and researched women’s political participation. She holds Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Providence College and a Master of Arts in Middle East Politics from the American University of Cairo.
