Investigative Analyst, South Sudan, The Enough Project
Mark Ferullo is an analyst at The Sentry, an initiative of the Enough Project, where he investigates corruption and human rights abuses in East and Central Africa. In this role, he develops policies to exert financial pressure on violent kleptocrats, armed groups, and commercial facilitators in support of peace and good governance in Africa. Prior to joining The Sentry, Mark was a foreign service officer based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and Washington, DC. While posted in Ethiopia, he focused on regional dynamics, including conflicts and mediation efforts in South Sudan and Somalia. Previously, Mark was an analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency, where he followed African politics and security. Originally from Pennsylvania, Mark earned an MSc in comparative politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a B.A. in politics and economics from New York University.
