Ruxandra Pond
Program Examiner, Office of Management and Budget
Ruxandra Pond is a senior Program Examiner in the International Affairs Division of the Office of Management Budget (OMB) where she develops and implements strategies that increase effectiveness of U.S. foreign assistance programs, including humanitarian assistance and engagement with international organizations, such as the United Nations (UN). While at OMB, Ruxandra detailed to the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) to manage the development of an expanded framework for measuring results of MCC’s compacts. Previously, Ruxandra worked at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) managing political, civic, and governance international development programs. Ruxandra graduated from the Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Studies of Eastern and Western Europe. She also earned master’s degrees in Public Administration and in International Relations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse.
