To promote the political leadership of young people and foster the political empowerment of young women in the Central African Republic cities of Bangui and Bouar. The partner will organize targeted workshops, capacity building trainings and training of trainers for young political party leaders and administrative officials, young girls and women parliamentarians, civil society actors, and high school and university students.

Building the Capacity of Young People, Women, and Community Leaders to Fight Hate Speech and Foster Peace

To counter hate speech, monitor the information space, and foster a culture of peace in 10 districts of Bangui, in Central African Republic (CAR). The project will empower young people, women, and community leaders through capacity-building workshops and carefully designed debate sessions. The project’s participants will become change agents equipped with proper tools to foster tolerance and counter hate-speech and sectarian violence in targeted communities.
