Civic Education on South Sudan’s Peace Agreement

To advocate for the full implementation of the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS). The organization will conduct a series of in-person and radio-based awareness activities in each of the ten former states of South Sudan on the conflict parties’ obligations under the agreement.

Supporting Human Rights Documentation and Advocacy

Foundation for Democracy and Accountable Governance

To support documentation of human rights abuses and violations and to identify and strengthen victims’ groups to enhance their advocacy efforts on justice and human rights. The organization will expand its network of local human rights monitors throughout the country to document abuses. The organization will support victims’ advocacy groups in their efforts to engage on transitional justice issues and to hold perpetrators to account. 

Women for Sustainable Peace

To build the capacity of women in Equatoria Province to participate in peace processes and hold government accountable. The organization will support local advocacy efforts to hold the parties to the peace agreement accountable to their obligations and develop the capacity of women in its Women for Sustainable Peace project to promote good governance and peacebuilding.
