Agon Maliqi is a policy analyst, civil society activist, media writer from Prishtina, Kosovo and a National Endowment for Democracy Spring 2019 Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellow. He is the creator and co-founding editor of sbunker.net, an Albanian language current affairs and ideas blog giving voice to a younger generation of scholars, writers, and activists from the Western Balkans.
The Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program hosts democracy activists, scholars, and journalists for five-month fellowships, bringing fresh insights and perspectives to Washington, DC. The fellowship offers an important opportunity to explore new ideas in a comparative context, undertake individual research, and share best practices with one another.
