Akaash Kolluri

Program Manager, National Democratic Institute

Akaash Kolluri is a Program Manager on the Asia-Pacific team at the National Democratic Institute (NDI), supporting the Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Bangladesh portfolios. At NDI, he supports the Institute’s programming on election observation, civil society support, and political participation. Before NDI, Akaash worked on local political campaigns in Michigan, conducting outreach and supporting field operations. Akaash has also worked with the International Rescue Committee, and in the office of Senator Gary Peters. Akaash has a Masters of Arts in International Relations from the John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, where he studied international security in South and Southeast Asia, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Political Science from the George Washington University.
