Carolyn Forstein practices law at Robbins, Russell, Englert, Orseck, Untereiner & Sauber LLP, with a focus on trial and appellate litigation. She previously clerked for Chief Judge Timothy M. Burgess of the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska and Justice Edwin Cameron of the Constitutional Court of South Africa, and practiced at an international law firm. Carolyn has worked on a range of international law and rule of law issues, including projects based in Ukraine, Bangladesh, and Peru. Before law school, Carolyn researched rule of law development as a Fulbright fellow in Ukraine and studied in Russia on an academic scholarship. Carolyn holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University. She is proficient in Spanish and Russian.
