Manal J. Farah

Manal Farah has over seven years of program management and development consulting experience with a focus on economic policy. Currently, she serves as a Project Director at Nathan Associates Inc., an international economic consulting company. Ms. Farah supports USAID-funded projects in the areas of trade facilitation, economic growth, and private sector development. Previously, she oversaw the East Africa portfolio at Endsight Consulting LLC, a boutique D.C. development consulting company. Her project experiences ranged from advising US companies on global procurement opportunities, developing market entry strategies, managing the communication strategy for a Presidential Candidate in the Horn of Africa, to leading research efforts on MCC indicators and providing policy recommendations based on the findings. Within MCC portfolio, Ms. Farah oversaw the health, education and gender in the economy indicators. A Somali native, Ms. Farah, has living, working, and traveling experience in East Africa as well as experience with academic research in the region. She received her MA in International Studies with a focus on International Development and Security from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
