Daniel Gottfried

Daniel Gottfried is a Senior Legislative and Policy Analyst at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. His portfolios include Europe policy and Public Diplomacy. Before joining the Senate Foreign Relations Committee staff, Daniel served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Comrat, Moldova (2016 – 2018) and taught in Cherepovets, Russia (2018 – 2019) as a Fulbright grantee. Daniel previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Foreign Policy Research Institute and the Trilateral Commission, and has experience on political campaigns. He holds a B.A. from Tufts University in International Relations and Russian and Eastern European Studies, and is an M.A. candidate at the U.S. Naval War College.
