Eddie Skolnick

Associate, Norton Rose Fulbright

Eddie Skolnick is an Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Norton Rose Fulbright, a global law firm, where he focuses on international arbitration and civil litigation. During law school, he worked in all three branches of the U.S. government, including the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He also was a Policy Analyst at the Harrison Institute, a nonprofit law firm, where he focused on issues concerning global supply-chain management. Prior to entering the legal profession, Eddie was a Project Manager at RELX Group, an information and analytics company, where he helped develop a joint venture with China’s leading scientific publisher. Prior to that, he conducted field research for the Committee to Support Chinese Lawyers on the challenges faced by public interest lawyers in China. He began his career as a Research Specialist at the Center for Naval Analyses, the think tank for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, where he co-authored studies on Asia-Pacific maritime security and U.S.–China defense relations. Eddie holds a J.D. from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has won multiple awards in Chinese speech and debate competitions. He is also a semiprofessional violinist and regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician.
