Nour Bouzouita’s journey is characterized by diverse academic experiences spanning Economics, Financial Markets, and Public Policy. Deeply influenced by her childhood in Tunisia during a dictatorial regime and the subsequent revolution, Nour’s professional experiences are a testament to her commitment to understanding and influencing the interplay of economic and political forces in the MENA region, with a particular focus on Tunisia. Nour has traversed a spectrum of roles, from prominent think tanks such as the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Atlantic Council, and the Global Institute for Transitions, to impactful work with The World Bank and engagement with Tunisian civil society. She has keenly observed civil society’s push for change, championed decentralization by designing an e-governance tool for the Tunisian government, influenced political debates through collaboration with think tanks, and conducted thorough research projects focusing on quantitative analysis for macroeconomic modeling. Her work encapsulates a commitment to understanding varying perspectives, from grassroots activism to global policy impacts.
